Author: Veronika Martínková Title: Case study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with diagnosis of a bilateral fracture of proximal humerus Objectives: The main goal of this work is to describe the possibilities of physiotherapeutic care for patients after bilateral fractures of the proximal humerus. The bachelor thesis contains an overview of theoretical knowledge, orientation in the literature that deals with this topic and processing of patient cases. Methods: The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. For the general part and the special part. The general part is focused on the processing of information related to the diagnosis. The information used in this section is obtained from professional literature and case studies from all over the world. Specifically, this section contains the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle, general information about fractures of the proximal humerus, treatment options and rehabilitation.
